Illustrated Photobook

In this post I am showing how I created two pages of an  illustrated photobook.  I incorporated actual pictures with some illustrations. The end goal was to make something fun to look at for both kids and adults. In addition, this photobook can be used as a learning material.

Most elements on this first page are  illustrations. I took pictures of cubs at the local zoo which I  cropped and changed the background to white so that it fit the other elements on the page. I applied the same procedure on the picture of the girl. Finally, I merged all pictures including illustrations in photoshop.

The second page is a combination of an actual bear which I incorporated into the pictures of the info board that was placed near the bear caged.  Since this info board has a lot of text, I only enhanced the frame so that it would fit the theme of the photobook.

Finally,  here is how the spread in the photobook would look like.
